Louise Charleson


Louise advises clients on a wide range of trust, regulatory, corporate and commercial matters including restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and re-domestications.

Louise qualified as a solicitor with a leading re/insurance law firm in London and has extensive legal experience in Bermuda.  She held senior positions at prominent offshore law firms in the jurisdiction before taking the role of Head of Legal at a local financial institution and then joining  Ocorian Law (Bermuda) Limited as a Partner in February 2020. 

Louise holds office as an independent non-executive director on a number of Boards of companies including commercial insurers, reinsurers, captives, insurance managers, asset managers, investment funds, healthcare providers, and charitable foundations. She also acts as a liquidator for solvent liquidations.
