Ryan McGrath

Ryan McGrath is Global Head of Innovation at Ocorian, responsible for building and leading the firm’s global innovation capability. He works across Ocorian’s businesses and functions to identify high-value opportunities, rapidly prototype new solutions, and translate successful concepts into scalable capabilities for colleagues and clients. His remit includes the application of AI, automation, and emerging technologies across complex, regulated workflows.

Prior to joining Ocorian, Ryan spent his 15-year career at EY and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led some of the largest scale transformations across the financial services industry. Most recently, he led a team of 320 global resources transform a top global bank’s highest priority operational workflow, significantly increasing production and freeing up team capacity for the most complex challenges. He also served as an AI ambassador, responsible for internal adoption of AI, alliance partnerships, and client deployments.

Ryan is currently based in New York, and has also led large teams in San Francisco, Singapore, and India. At Ocorian, Ryan is focused on creating a disciplined innovation model that moves quickly from problem identification to production deployment. He is a strong advocate for responsible AI adoption and passionate about building a broader innovation community across the organisation.

His goal is to help colleagues identify opportunities, experiment responsibly and use new technologies to improve how Ocorian works and serves its clients. Ryan holds a master’s degree in information technology, Control & Accountancy from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant in the United States. He has further augmented his expertise through professional technology and AI development programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
