Carol Feathers

Director of Client Services

Carol joined Ocorian* in January, 1999 and brings over 30 years’ fiduciary services experience and expertise to her current role as a Director of Client Services with the Bermuda team. She serves on the boards of several Bermuda registered companies including commercial insurers with both long-term and general business licenses, and serves on related board committees.

Carol is Ocorian’s local expert on the Economic Substance regime which was introduced recently in Bermuda. She has extensive experience as principal representative for Bermuda registered insurers as well as in the design of bespoke accounting or related back-office service solutions for international companies, treasury support services, trust accounting, Bermuda regulatory reporting for insurers and trust accounting.

Earlier in her career she spent eight years with a domestic Bermuda insurance group where she gained a broad perspective in reinsurance accounting/systems implementation and workers compensation/employers liability insurance as well as captive management.

In the UK Carol spent six years as the finance director and general manager of a private hospital and five years with provincial Chartered Accountants in private practice providing accounting, audit and tax services.

Carol also contributes to the local community as board member and treasurer of Raleigh Bermuda Limited, a local non-profit and volunteers as a Bermuda national race officer for local sailing events.
