Alison Dyer

Managing Director - Bermuda

Alison is the Managing Director of Ocorian's Bermuda office and has extensive experience in private equity transactions, derivatives, public and private company M&A activity, equity and debt markets, corporate governance, and partnerships in relation to both their formation and on-going transactions. She leads the members’ voluntary liquidation practice, acting as liquidator in most cases.

A former partner of a global offshore law firm in Bermuda, Alison has been recommended by IFLR1000 and Legal 500 Caribbean where she was commended for being ‘extremely responsive and practical.’ She was also named a Leader in her Field by Chambers Global, noting ‘her significant experience in debt and equity financings and securities offerings and listings’.
Alison has a long history of sitting on boards of Bermuda companies as an independent director and provides commentary on the Bermuda funds and investment services, private equity, and insurance industries. Recent examples of her market commentary include ‘Bermuda’s ILS market flourishes’, Artemis – May 2019, and ‘Bermuda’s captive market stands out in the crowd’, Captive Review – June 2019.

Alison was previously an elected member of the Bermuda Bar Council and the Professional Conduct Committee of the Bermuda Bar Council. She is a member of the Bermuda Bar Association and also the UK Institute of Directors.
