Claire Le Brocq

Head of Private Equity and Islamic Finance

Specialising in private equity and real estate fund structures, Claire has over 21 years' experience working in the finance and investment industry.

In addition to her senior management and Board responsibilities at Ocorian, Claire works closely with key clients and leads the client relationship management teams to ensure best practice standards and client service delivery is maintained at all times.

With Board experience across the spectrum of regulation classifications in Jersey as well as other jurisdictions, Claire works on close ended funds covering all asset classes -  Real Estate, Infrastructure, Venture Capital, Private Equity and Fund of Funds. 

Over recent years, Claire has also spent time developing and leading Ocorian's Shari'ah compliant funds offering, managing the implementation and administration of investment structures specifically designed for the GCC investor market with a number of Asset Managers based in both London and the Middle East.

Claire also plays a key role in regulatory compliance matters, which has included working with our dedicated Compliance professionals in response to the Codes of Practice for Fund Services Business, Certified Funds and Alternative Investment Funds and Alternative Investment Funds Services introduced by the Jersey Financial Services Commission. This has involved the development of specific policies, procedures and a comprehensive practical framework to ensure and demonstrate effective compliance.
