Ocorian strengthens U.S. fund services leadership team following integration of E78 Fund Solutions business

Ocorian has strengthened its U.S. leadership team as it advances the integration of E78 Fund Solutions and expands services to alternative asset managers across their investment lifecycle.

The combined U.S. business, which now includes more than 30 years of track record and 150 professionals across six offices, forms a core part of Ocorian’s global platform with more than $90 billion of assets under administration.

The U.S. leadership team reflects the breadth of services, including CFO and COO solutions, fund administration, regulatory and compliance services and tax advisory. The leadership team combined from the senior talent of both organizations, is announced by Yegor Lanovenko, Global Co-Head of Fund Services, who recently moved to NYC to facilitate Ocorian expansion in the U.S. and building global solutions to asset managers: “We are combining the strengths of both teams to deliver unmatched expertise and coverage across asset classes, services and locations. Our clients and partners can count on continuity, seamless service delivery, leadership stability and new global capabilities as we expand our platform together.” 

Vincent Calcagno appointed as Head of U.S. Growth

Vince is a seasoned executive with deep leadership experience across the alternative investment industry, recognized for driving sustained growth, market expansion, and value creation. His career reflects a consistent focus on building and scaling institutional-grade solutions for asset managers across the full fund lifecycle. 

Vince has led the same core fund solutions platform as it evolved from Agile Fund Solutions to E78 Fund Solutions and now Ocorian, maintaining continuity of leadership, client relationships, and go-to-market strategy throughout. He has held senior executive roles including CEO, COO, and CFO, and has served on Advisory Boards as well as Executive and HR Committees of national professional services firms.

As Head of U.S. Growth, Vince leads Ocorian’s commercial strategy in the U.S., working with the team to grow the business as the premier partner of choice for asset managers and asset owners in alternative investments. Vince is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Paul Fitzpatrick as Head of Fund Operations, U.S.

Based in New York, Paul has nearly 30 years of experience in accounting and operational services for the alternative investment industry. He has a strong track record in leadership, client delivery, and business development across major financial institutions and family offices.

Paul has been part of the same fund operations team since joining Agile Fund Solutions in 2015, continuing his leadership through the firm’s evolution into E78 Fund Solutions and now Ocorian. Today, as Head of U.S. Fund Operations, he oversees operational delivery with a focus on scale, consistency, and high-touch client service.

Brian Smith as Head of CFO Solutions U.S.

Brian has over 30 years of experience in alternative investment fund administration and operations, having held senior leadership roles across the industry. His expertise spans CFO services, operational infrastructure, fund administration and strategic advisory support for fund managers.

Brian has been part of the same leadership team since joining Agile in 2020, continuing through its evolution into E78 Fund Solutions and now Ocorian. Based in Charlotte, he leads Ocorian’s U.S. CFO Solutions offering, supporting managers with scalable, institutional-grade financial oversight.

Lynne Westbrook as Head of Fund Administration U.S.

Lynne is a senior leader with more than 20 years of experience across fund administration, accounting, and financial reporting within the alternative investment industry. She is recognized for driving transformation at scale, enabling growth, and delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients across a broad range of asset managers, fund structures, and investment approaches.

As Head of U.S. Fund Administration, Lynne oversees Ocorian’s U.S. operations with accountability for service excellence, growth readiness and client experience. She partners with sponsors to evolve fund platforms, enhance governance, and support expansion. Based in Dallas, she plays a key role in supporting Ocorian’s broader growth strategy.

Howard Nurtman as Head of Regulatory and Compliance U.S.

Based in Los Angeles, Howard has more than 30 years of international experience across senior finance, operations, and compliance roles. He has worked extensively with hedge funds, private equity firms, broker-dealers, and advisory businesses.

Howard joined the firm in 2017 and has continued to lead regulatory and compliance services as the business evolved from Agile into E78 Fund Solutions and now Ocorian. He specializes in regulatory reporting, compliance program design, and advisory support, helping fund managers navigate increasingly complex regulatory environments with confidence.

Ofelia Sanchez as Head of Tax Advisory U.S.

Ofelia Sanchez leads Ocorian’s U.S. Tax Advisory practice, bringing over 20 years of experience in tax and advisory services for private equity, venture capital firms, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. She oversees accounting and tax services while playing a key role in business development and client relationship management.

Based in Chicago, Ofelia holds advanced degrees from DePaul University and is a licensed CPA in Illinois. Prior to joining Ocorian in 2023, she served as a Tax Partner at a leading CPA firm in Chicago. She brings deep technical expertise and practical insight into complex fund structures and tailored solutions for sophisticated clients.
