Job Description
Purpose of the Job
You'll play a key role in delivering accurate accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of private funds. You'll work closely with clients, auditors, and internal teams to ensure reporting deadlines are met and services are delivered to the highest standard.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records for assigned funds, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare capital call and distribution notices, partner allocations, and investor reporting, including capital account statements and performance metrics.
- Produce financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with US GAAP.
- Develop a strong understanding of fund structures, transactions, and reporting requirements to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client deliverables.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, investors, auditors, and other professional advisers, responding to queries and supporting reporting and audit processes.
- Ensure regulatory, statutory, and client reporting requirements are met while adhering to internal policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to process improvements, operational efficiency initiatives, and the enhancement of internal controls.
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications Required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA qualification and/or Master's degree is advantageous, but not required.
- Previous experience in fund accounting, finance, or a similar accounting role is preferred.
- Knowledge of US GAAP is desirable.

- Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to apply accounting principles in a practical and commercial way.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong overall proficiency with financial systems and technology.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Professional, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality service.
