Job Description
Purpose of the Role
We are looking for an experienced Fund Administration Senior Manager to lead a team of Fund Administrators delivering high-quality administration services to a portfolio of client funds and investment structures. Working closely with the Director and wider management team, you will provide technical leadership, oversee operational performance, ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management requirements, and drive continuous improvement across the function. This is an excellent opportunity to combine hands-on involvement with complex client structures, people leadership, and business management in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
Client & Fund Administration
- Lead and support a team of Fund Administrators, ensuring the effective administration of client funds and investment structures while maintaining high service standards.
- Act as a technical expert for the team and personally manage a small number of complex or high-risk client structures where required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and professional advisers, providing support on complex matters and attending meetings as needed.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with company policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks, escalating issues appropriately.
- Act as an authorised signatory in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Operations & Business Management
- Monitor team performance, utilisation, billing, and aged debt, ensuring resources are managed effectively to meet client and business objectives.
- Support the onboarding and allocation of new business, ensuring work is distributed appropriately across the team.
- Contribute to management meetings, business initiatives, and projects focused on improving efficiency, client service, and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure appropriate succession and resource planning to maintain service continuity during periods of absence.
People Leadership
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop team members, creating a positive and high-performing working environment.
- Oversee recruitment, performance management, employee development, and absence management, working closely with HR and senior leadership where required.
- Set clear objectives and priorities, ensuring team responsibilities and deliverables are effectively managed.

Qualifications Required
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g. CGI/ICSA or equivalent) is desirable.
- Extensive relevant industry experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Significant experience within fund (Private Equity is preferrable), trust, or company administration, ideally within a regulated financial services environment. Ideally 7+ years.
- Strong technical knowledge of fund administration, trust structures, Jersey Company Law, and associated regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing operational performance and financial metrics.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant technology platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
