Job Description
Purpose of the Job
Take ownership of the accounting and administration of a diverse portfolio of Capital Markets clients, including structured finance, debt structures and securitisation vehicles. As part of the Luxembourg Capital Markets team, you'll apply your technical accounting expertise to deliver high-quality financial statements, management accounts and reporting while building strong relationships with clients, auditors and colleagues.
This is an opportunity to deepen your expertise across Capital Markets, IFRS and Luxembourg accounting within an international environment. You'll review client deliverables, share your knowledge with junior colleagues and contribute to their development through coaching and guidance. Working collaboratively across the business, you'll play an important role in delivering excellent client outcomes while continuing to grow your own technical and leadership capabilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the accounting and administration of an allocated portfolio of structured finance, debt and securitisation clients.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts and accounting records for a range of client structures.
- Build strong relationships with clients, providing high-quality accounting support and service throughout the client lifecycle.
- Review client deliverables, including interim reporting, distribution calculations, interest accruals, equalisation and interest payment dates.
- Review bank, investment and other reconciliations, supporting accuracy and consistency across client reporting.
- Prepare and review VAT and tax returns and regulatory reporting, working collaboratively with colleagues across the team.
- Prepare annual financial statements and ad hoc reporting in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
- Share your technical knowledge with Accountants, Assistant Accountants and Junior Accountants through coaching, guidance and collaborative working.
- Partner with appointed auditors to support the successful delivery of financial statement audits.
- Maintain high-quality working papers and supporting documentation in line with established standards and procedures.
- Contribute to client budgeting, accounting projects and initiatives that enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Ocorian Group to deliver consistent, high-quality accounting services across jurisdictions.

Qualifications Required
- ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional accounting qualification, or relevant experience that provides an equivalent level of accounting expertise.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience preparing and reviewing client accounts, with exposure to Capital Markets, structured finance, debt structures or securitisation vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, with knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP or other relevant accounting frameworks considered beneficial.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills, with the ability to review a range of accounting deliverables.
- Experience building effective relationships with clients, auditors and colleagues to support high-quality service delivery.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy, quality and effective delivery.
- Experience supporting and developing colleagues through technical guidance, coaching and knowledge sharing.
