Job Description

Purpose of the Job 

The Manager is responsible for the implementation, growth and day to day operations of the investor services processes related to each type of fund structure as serviced by Ocorian. 

To provide professional administration support to a varied portfolio of clients for which Ocorian provides services and to comply with the business' Policies and Procedures at all times. 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities to effectively manage, support, and develop the team.  
  • Possess solid knowledge of investor services functions, with a good understanding of AML/KYC laws and regulations.  
  • Provide technical expertise across investor services, including capital activity, FATCA/CRS compliance, and investor reporting.  
  • Maintain a sound understanding of accounting principles related to subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions, ensuring investor communications are issued in line with established procedures and deadlines.  
  • Ensure effective coordination and collaboration across internal teams and with clients.  
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and investors.  
  • Ensure investor databases are accurate, complete, and regularly updated.  
  • Review and oversee the execution of periodic (monthly, quarterly, or other defined frequency) distribution processes for a growing portfolio.  
  • Ensure all client deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed timelines, in accordance with each client’s defined calendar.  
  • Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy across all client deliverables.  
  • Attend Board meetings where investor relations matters are discussed, as required.  
  • Escalate issues and risks promptly to Senior Management where appropriate.  
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management or Directors from time to time.  
  • Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information relating to the organisation, its clients, and employees, in order to protect professional reputation.  
  • Ensure accurate time recording in accordance with company policies and procedures.  
  • Comply with all information security policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a strong security environment.

Qualifications Required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline and a Master’s or Professional qualification will be a plus  
  • Typically, 6 – 10+ years of relevant experience in Fund Services with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in managerial role  
  • Proven experience managing teams, reviewing complex deliverables and overseeing multiple client or fund relationships 
  • High attention to details with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels 
  • Flexibility, energy and enthusiasm 
  •  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines 
  • A solution driven attitude to problems 
  • Ability to work using own initiative and make decisions within corporate policies 
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work methodically and accurately
