Renee is a seasoned financial services executive with over 30 years of industry expertise spanning New York, Bermuda, and Kuala Lumpur. Her focus is on driving business transformation and profit growth while prioritizing customer-centricity. Renee is a strong advocate for professional development and diversity and emphasizes collaboration to inspire cross-functional teams to surpass revenue targets, develop innovative revenue-generation solutions, and improve operational efficiency while fostering stakeholder consensus. 

Renee assumed the Head of Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) role at HSBC Malaysia in 2021. In that role, she drove increases in revenue, market share and customer base in HSBC Malaysia's retail business while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. In this role, Renee led the team to accomplish a remarkable 320+% year-on-year increase in net new investable assets, accelerating wealth expansion in a challenging market environment. She also spearheaded Malaysia’s participation in a pilot program for a new card growth strategy. 

Renee has held multiple leadership roles across HSBC's retail business, including as Head of Distribution at WPB Malaysia from 2019 - 2021, where she was responsible for optimizing personal banking relationships across branches, contact centers, and direct sales. Before that, she served as Head of WPB at HSBC Bermuda from 2014 to 2019 and Head of Customer Value Management at HSBC Bermuda from 2012 to 2014. 

Before joining HSBC, Renee began her career in the Internal Audit department at North Forth Bank in New York and subsequently worked for Ernst & Young in Bermuda as a US Certified Public Accountant. Renee is a member of the HSBC X Imperial Sustainability Leadership Program 2023 and has served as a Board Member of the Bermuda Association of International Companies (2016 – 2019) and Bermuda Chamber of Commerce (2008 – 2015). She holds a BA in Accounting with Honors from Florida Institute of Technology.
