Sherman (FCCA, ARM, CIA) is the Head of Capital Markets at Ocorian's Bermuda office.
He joined Ocorian in January, 2008 and principally focuses on sponsoring new Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Listings, providing ongoing sponsorship for BSX-listed companies, providing insurance management and principal representative services for captives, and providing accountancy services for employee benefits trusts and other entities with special needs.
Sherman works closely with the BSX to identify and develop new business, including secondary listings for companies with listings on other recognised stock exchanges, insurance linked securities listings, and mezzanine market listings for companies who do not readily meet the requirements for listing on the BSX Main Board.
He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the UK, and holds professional qualifications in risk management from the Insurance Institute of America, and in internal audit from the Institute of Internal Auditors of the USA.
