Rebecca is Ocorian’s Global Head of Regulatory Consulting, responsible for the continuing success of the Ocorian consulting business and our future growth.
Prior to joining Ocorian, Rebecca was CEO of regulatory consulting firm, Bovill Limited, which was acquired by Ocorian in 2024. Rebecca has been helping financial services firms as a regulatory consultant for over 25 years. An expert in UK and Asia regulation, she has led major projects with international asset managers, wealth managers, banks and payment services providers. Her subject expertise embraces governance, client money, financial crime, digital assets and conduct of business requirements. She has also spent time on secondment as Head of Compliance and MLRO, acted as a Skilled Person on FCA section 166 work, and overseen our delivery of licensing and ongoing compliance support services for private equity, real estate, hedge and other alternative funds and brokers.
Rebecca spent part of her career living and working in Asia, in both Singapore and Hong Kong, overseeing the delivery of services to clients in Hong Kong and Singapore while sitting on various international Boards.
Rebecca holds a Masters degree from Queen Mary University of London in Law and Economics, and an undergraduate degree from Durham University in Mathematics and Computer Science. Her Masters dissertation in 2012 was an empirical study to prove that, at that time, hedge funds did not create systemic risk to the wider market. She has completed an executive education program at Harvard on leading professional services firms.
