About
Marcus joined Ocorian Law (Cayman) Limited as Counsel in September 2026. He has more than a decade of legal experience, including eight years advising on offshore banking, finance and corporate matters across the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands.
Marcus advises on structured finance, fund finance, subscription facilities and capital call financings. His clients include lenders, borrowers, leading asset managers and global banks. He also has substantial onshore and offshore corporate finance experience, advising on private and public M&A transactions involving Cayman vehicles, including major private equity deals in the Gulf and several billion-dollar mergers.
He is recognised by The Legal 500 as a Rising Star, key lawyer and leading associate. Marcus also has experience in equity capital markets transactions, Cayman IPOs and SPAC listings on NASDAQ and the NYSE, as well as debt capital markets work involving structured note offerings and debt listings on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange. Before joining Ocorian Cayman Law, he worked in the BVI and Cayman Islands offices of leading international offshore law firms and, earlier in his career, in the corporate finance department of Travers Smith LLP in London.
