Joanne Hui

Joanne specialises in advising capital markets businesses on SFC regulatory requirements. Before joining Ocorian, Joanne worked in the Regulatory Compliance team of a major investment bank in Hong Kong. She also spent several years with the Listing Division of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, where she was responsible for listing enforcement and IPO policy matters. Earlier in her career, she gained more than 10 years of experience across three of the “Big Four” accounting firms, providing forensic and dispute advisory services as well as tax consulting services. Joanne holds bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Law from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of London, respectively and an MBA from New York University. She is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Born in Beijing, she is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
