12 January, 2023

Leading global funds services and solutions provider Ocorian has appointed Chris Bickley as Business Development Director (Funds) as it looks to build on growing opportunities in the market.

He will focus on further strengthening Ocorian’s business, profile, brand, and reputation as the group, which supports many of the world’s largest financial institutions as well as dynamic start-up fund managers and boutique houses, continues to expand.

Based in London, he will cover all asset classes in private markets with a particular interest in renewables and unlisted real estate. He joins Ocorian from SS&C Technologies where he was a business development manager for private markets covering private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and private credit funds.

Simon Behan, Chief Commercial Officer at Ocorian said: “Chris is a key appointment for Ocorian as we continue to enhance our services and solutions to the growing private capital market sector, where clients increasingly need support to streamline and enhance their offering to their end clients.”

Chris Bickley added: “It is an exciting time to be joining Ocorian when private markets are expanding with a healthy pipeline of fund launches across all major jurisdictions. Ocorian’s personal, professional and flexible approach is ideally suited to supporting clients to deliver customised and scalable solutions.”

He started his 20-plus year career as an analyst at Salomon Brothers before joining Credit Suisse First Boston and then moving into fund services at BNP Paribas and then Deutsche Bank in prime brokerage.

He has also worked in investor services sales at JP Morgan focused on financing, clearing and intermediation, liquidity solutions, and fund administration for alternative investment managers including hedge funds, private equity, debt and real estate funds, and family offices.
