About
Joel has 15 years of experience in the Cayman Islands financial services industry. He has worked for top tier financial services providers in the areas of fund administration (hedge funds and private equity structures) and financial statement preparation. He also has significant public sector experience, having led the finances of multiple government ministries, sat on various public sector boards/committees, and having worked in the Ministry with responsibility for financial services policy development and legislation.
Prior to his current role as Head of Legal Operations, Joel served as the Financial Controller at Ocorian and led the function for the jurisdictions of Cayman and the British Virgin Islands.
Joel is the current Deputy Chairperson for the Trade & Business Licensing Board and a 2nd Term Board Member for the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands (CAACI). Joel is also an Executive for the CAIA Association (Cayman Chapter).
