Abidjan and Lagos to host upcoming Ocorian Forums

After Mauritius, Nairobi and Dubai, the scene is set for two more editions of the Ocorian Forum, this time in the West African capital cities of Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire and Lagos, Nigeria.

Both Forums will debate on: 'The role played by International Financial Centres in securing and enhancing investor value.'

The Forums come at a time when the African continent is bracing for an expected surge in cross border business, arising mainly from the impending implementation of the Continental Free Trade Area.

Scheduled on 9 April in Abidjan and 11 April in Lagos, the Ocorian Forum will attract a host of business professionals and intermediaries, including investment managers, funds specialists, financial services practitioners, CEOs and CFOs in addition to Ocorian’s extensive client and contacts base in the region.

The Ocorian Forum, previously known as the ABAX Forum, serves as a platform to exchange views and promote thought-leadership around the key questions of enterprise value and investor value driven by IFCs. Both the Abidjan Forum and the Lagos Forum will take the form of a panel discussion.
