Purpose of the Job

To provide legal secretarial assistance and office support to our management and the client team in connection with our day-to-day services and duties towards our (international) clients. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting and supporting the client team with their day-to-day services for a portfolio of international clients.
  • Arranging for the registration of modifications of client information at the Business Register of the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (kvK), such as changes of the contact details, authorised signatories, etc.
  • Organizing board / shareholders meetings and drafting minutes and resolutions with support of the Senior Legal.
  • Preparation of payment instructions through different banking platforms.
  • Assisting with compliance (CDD/KYC) related matters.
  • Establishing, maintaining, processing, and/or updating files, records, and/or other documents.
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail, including courier documents.
  • Responsible for general facility matters and orders for office supplies, etc.
  • Coordinate the everyday running of the office.
  • Providing other related support services as and when required.
  • Comply with Ocorian policies and procedures at all times and participate in their ongoing review and development.

Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in law / business administration or experience as corporate legal secretary / any other training certifications in the legal field will be a strong advantage in your application
  • Experience in the financial and/or legal services industry would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Fluent in Dutch and intermediate in English language is preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook, and NavOne
  • Good organisational skills, attention to details and ability to work methodically and accurately
  • Able to work independently and capable to prioritise tasks as appropriate
  • Flexibility, motivated and enthusiasm
