Job Description

Purpose of the job

The Capital Markets Service Line provides SPV administration, Corporate Trust, Securitisation and Fiduciary Services to a wide variety of Bank and Non-Bank Financial Institutions. In order to support the growth of the business we are looking for an administrator to support key processes vital to the smooth operating of the franchise, working closely with the London Capital Markets Client Services team to ensure future business success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide junior operative support to conduit management processes including data processing, bank reconciliation and clearing the one-time data backlog in e-front to facilitate full accounting from the transaction system
  • Provide backup and support for Bloomberg data processes which support both Capital Markets and & Fund Services Service Lines
  • Assist in developing resiliency in cash management processes across all Capital Markets services, particularly with regard to timely payment processing across all Capital Markets products, funds tracking and query resolution
  • Support the Capital Markets SPV administration book, particularly in managing information requirements for the accounting team with regard to audit, financial & management reporting responsibilities
  • Support the Capital Markets London billing and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Support the UK business head with the control of statutory filings for the Capital Markets SPV book
  • Support London Capital Markets with periodic file review requirements and client data management in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (“NAV”)
  • To ensure an awareness and understanding of Regulatory requirements
  • Carry out any function/activity required by the Manager, Management team or Directors from time to time
  • Escalating any issues/risks arising promptly to the Manager or Directors where appropriate

Qualifications Required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Educated to degree standard and/or studying for a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ICSA/ACCA), however applications from those qualified by experience will also be equally considered.
  • Ideally a minimum of 1-2 years or more relevant financial services / professional experience, preferably in a client-facing role within a banking operations department, Corporate Trust business or similar organisation
  • As a result of study and experience, possess a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of working in a control environment
  • Strong IT skills, in particular strong Excel skills. Some experience with asset administration systems (e.g. eFront, NAV, Solvas (formerly CDO Suite), Loan IQ) is desirable
  • Good interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Flexibility, energy and enthusiasm
  • A solution driven attitude to problems
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work methodically and accurately
