Job Description

Responsible for delivering comprehensive client and portfolio management services across alternative investment fund mandates (Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Debt), ensuring strong client relationships and high‑quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead relationship manager for assigned clients and key service providers (investment advisors, delegated portfolio managers, depositaries, fund administrators).
  • Advisory model: Oversee end‑to‑end execution of portfolio transactions, including review of investment recommendations, analysis of transaction documentation, coordination of compliance and AML checks, documentation of investment decisions, and monitoring asset performance and KPIs.
  • Delegation model: Ensure appropriate oversight of delegated portfolio managers through involvement in pre‑execution reviews (risk and valuation) and ongoing monitoring using quarterly KPIs.
  • Prepare quarterly reporting for the AIFM board summarising fund activity.
  • Maintain corporate and operational fund documentation, including board minutes and operating memoranda.
  • Contribute to internal projects focused on process improvement, automation, standardisation, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications Required

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies 

  • University degree in economics or law.
  • 5+ years of experience with Luxembourg AIFs, including 3+ years in an AIFM.
  • Strong client‑facing skills and ability to operate in high‑profile environments.
  • Excellent organisational abilities.
  • Fluency in English; German is a strong asset.
