Job Description
Purpose of the Job
You will work as part of Ocorian’s Fund Services Service line, within the Solutions team, reporting to the Solutions Senior Technician.
As Solutions Team Report Writer, your primary responsibility will be working on developing new reports and improving existing ones for new and existing clients of Ocorian alike across the global funds platform. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality end-to-end technology development and evolution to drive efficiencies and accuracy in all outputs.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Solutions Team members and client facing teams to develop and implement reports within the platform for new and existing clients.
- Work as a Solutions team representative from a systems perspective on agreed clients that come through the team. Taking responsibility for actions assigned to you Own and manage the relevant segment of the project, defining the requirements for the reporting and developments to ensure that all deliverables are correctly scoped and delivered to a high standard and within the required timeframes.
- Deliver comprehensive handover notes on new reports and user guides to ensure that the client facing teams fully understand what is required from them from a system usage perspective once handover has taken place.
- Identifying proper source of data for new reports and optimizing standardization in reports.
- Review source, templates and reporting codes on existing reports and propose optimization and improvements.
- Draft, edit, and finalize reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain a repository of standard reports.
- Initial testing of developed reports by creating test cases and reconciling data.
- Work on a continuous cycle of delivering new reports that will provide users with efficiencies in their outputs. Work with the Solutions Team, Fund Systems Team as well as end users to discover gaps in our reporting capabilities and bridge the gap with a continuous cycle of development and report enhancements.

Qualifications Required
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ working on efront from a technical/report writing perspective.
Competencies
- Very strong technical skills in relevant area.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and solution driven attitude to managing problems.
- Ability to work using own initiative and make decisions within strict corporate policies and procedures.
- Strong time management, organisational and IT skills including SQL and eFront reporting.
