Purpose Of The Role

  • Assist in the monitoring of defined risk levels and risk profiles for a range of investment funds, with focus on the alternative asset sector
  • Perform risk analysis of fund transactions
  • Contribute to regular stress testing exercises, risk management policy/procedures update
  • Review financial data of the funds under management
  • Assist with various requests and ad hoc projects related to risk management
  • Participate in the preparation of risk management reporting at fund and entity level, contribute to quarterly AIFMD reporting
  • Oversee fund operations, escalate potential issues or concerns, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Participate in industry conferences and training sessions, and stay up to date with regulatory changes

Qualifications Required
  • University degree in economics or law
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience with Luxembourg AIFs, ideally within an AIFM
  • Experience and ability to communicate well with clients in a high-profile environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Fluency in English, with German/French being a significant advantage

Competencies

  • University degree with focus on finance/economics
  • Ability to analyse financial data
  • Practical experience in the alternative investment fund sector
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of German and/or French would be an advantage)
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently, ensuring timely reporting completion
  • Fast learner with strong analytical, methodical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work methodically and accurately
  • Initiative for continuous self-development as well as improvement of internal processes
