Responsibilities: 

  • Driving operational excellence in the delivery of client services.
  • Monitoring data accuracy and completeness and conducting data reviews as required.  
  • Ensuring service is delivered to client satisfaction within compliance and regulatory requirements, balancing regulatory compliance with client needs.
  • Developing knowledge of risk management practices.
  • Assisting with oversight of the operational requirements of the local Private Client team. 
  • Growing commerciality skills and business acumen to take on greater responsibility. 
  • Maintaining and growing a portfolio of clients, building client relationships that deliver a strong understanding of client requirements, the nature and rationale of client activities and transactions.
  • Leading communications with clients at all levels knowledgeably and professionally. 
  • Identifying and proposing new opportunities to sell Ocorian services through growing commercial and business acumen.
  • Developing your ability to work independently, with larger/more complex clients, flexing your style to achieve great outcomes.
  • Building your internal and external network and collaborating with others
  • Managing and motivating a team, empowering them to deliver high calibre work in line with client expectations.
  • Tracking and monitoring work allocated to the team, ensuring work is delegated to team members commensurate with their abilities and identifying any knowledge gaps and training requirements.
  • Reviewing the quality of the team’s work and providing feedback on performance, growing their skills through coaching and training enabling them to work more independently and take on more complex work.
  • Actively participating in all people activities such as recruitment, performance appraisals and performance management, conducting meaningful performance appraisals for all team members.
  • Developing a deeper understanding of how to support others to succeed and progress.
  • Driving profitability and implementing procedures for appropriate financial management, including the preparation of fee proposals, resourcing, time recording, invoicing, collections and cost management.
  • Ensuring billing and cash collection is actioned in a timely matter and fee disputes are remedied swiftly.
  • Developing the Ocorian business by meeting or exceeding targets and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Qualifications Required
  • 5+ years' experience in Trust and Company administration.  
  • Qualified to professional level or equivalent such as STEP/CGI.  
  • Meets the required standard as set by the local regulator.
