Job Description

Purpose of the Job

As part of the Entity Management Team in Mauritius, this role supports Ocorian offices across multiple jurisdictions by delivering efficient and high-quality entity management and corporate administration services. The position is responsible for managing a range of company secretarial and administrative activities, ensuring requests are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.

The role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal standards while supporting the smooth operation of client structures. It provides exposure to both routine and complex entity management matters, offering opportunities to develop technical knowledge and professional expertise. Working closely with colleagues and management, the successful candidate will contribute to service excellence by prioritising tasks, monitoring progress and providing regular updates to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery of entity management requests from start to finish, ensuring tasks are prioritised, completed accurately and delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Become a trusted user of Viewpoint, NavOne and other key systems, maintaining high standards of data quality and operational excellence across all activities.
  • Keep deadlines on track, proactively monitoring workloads, resolving issues and escalating risks before they impact service delivery.
  • Support complex entity management matters, working alongside experienced colleagues to broaden your technical expertise and contribute to successful outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, helping to resolve outstanding matters and keeping requests moving efficiently.
  • Continuously develop your skills by embracing feedback, applying best practices and contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Provide meaningful management information, including timesheets, trackers, reports and dashboards that support performance monitoring and informed decision-making.
  • Play an active role in the success of a global team, supporting day-to-day operations and collaborating with international Ocorian offices, including outside standard business hours when required.

Qualifications Required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in financial services, corporate administration, company secretarial or a related environment.
  • A strong understanding of corporate governance, regulatory requirements and AML/CFT obligations, with a commitment to quality and compliance.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive mindset, enabling you to deliver work efficiently and accurately.
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to build positive relationships and contribute to team success.
  • Desirable: A professional qualification such as ICSA/CGI, STEP or ACCA, and experience using Viewpoint and/or NavOne.
