Job Description
Purpose of the Job
The Head of Corporate Services will lead our Corporate Services division at Ocorian in the Cayman Islands, ensuring it operates effectively, efficiently, and profitably. The successful candidate report to the Regional Head of Corporate Services - Americas to uphold service standards and foster strong, profitable relationships with clients. Additionally, this role involves managing and motivating team leaders, promoting a culture of teamwork through exemplary leadership.
Main Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, overseeing the delivery of integrated corporate solutions across our operations and driving growth.
- Design and implement process improvement plans to support client service delivery and enhance the working experience of colleagues on the corporate team.
- Implement Ocorian’s growth strategy by demonstrating the ability to generate innovative and strategic ideas that challenge the status quo.
- Act as a director for several client and/or internal companies.
- Serve as a bank signatory for the company and/or clients.
Operational Management & Team Performance
- Supervise team heads across the jurisdiction overseeing incorporation/establishment, corporate administration, accounting, automatic exchange of information (AEOI) services, economic substance reporting, beneficial ownership reporting, fund and corporate governance, board support services, anti-money laundering officers, and voluntary liquidations.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team heads, ensuring their teams' workloads are completed to the highest standards and within agreed timelines, while fulfilling team objectives without compromising the company or client interests.
- Drive the growth and development of the division, including training guidance, career development, and maximising team potential.
- Foster an atmosphere of cooperation, teamwork, and support within the team.
- Liaise regularly with support functions on operational matters affecting the Corporate Services business.
Business development, Client relations & Financial Performance
- Ensure that realistic financial targets (including utilisation) for the Corporate Services business are met, which includes budget‑setting and monitoring progress against the budget.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development / Sales team during the onboarding of new business.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients.
- Work with corporate team members and team other service lines to identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities and strengthen client relationships across various business segments.
- Collaborate with the Business Development / Sales teams to continuously review marketing opportunities and assist in developing a network of key or prospective clients and intermediaries.
- Represent Corporate Services in the market, leveraging your network to generate new business opportunities.

Qualifications Required
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional qualification
- Proven supervisory/management experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory level, preferably with a corporate services firm
- Outsourcing and digital assets experience would be very desirable
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Client service focused and commercial thinker
Competencies
- Strong Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience in engaging clients and intermediaries across the asset management, institutional investment, and alternative investments client segment, including private equity and hedge funds.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to effectively manage and motivate staff to achieve high performance.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the capability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues across all levels of the organisation.
- Solution-Oriented Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on delivering effective solutions.
- Initiative and Decision-Making: Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and decision-making within corporate policies.
- Time Management and Organisational Skills: Strong skills in time management, organisation, and proficiency in IT applications.
