Job Description
Purpose of the Job
The successful candidate will report to the Client Services Manager and will work closely with the Fund Accountants and Fund Accounting Managers in charge of the relevant relationships. They will be involved in the management of the day-to-day operation and servicing of a number of clients from managing the bank account and supporting documentation, payment of distributions and investor redemptions, assisting with audit queries and also working with the Head of Risk and Compliance on ad hoc projects that might arise.
Main Responsibilities
- Communicate accurately and promptly with clients and advisers, ensuring strong governance and meeting client expectations.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure all bookkeeping and investment-related transactions are completed correctly and on time.
- Calculate and process all fees, expenses, and invoices according to company procedures.
- Manage cash for each structure in line with governing documents and agreed policies.
- Arrange timely fund transfers for investments and distributions.
- Handle foreign exchange transactions when required.
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve outstanding items.
- Ensure all entities follow their investment guidelines and meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Understand and monitor each assigned structure to ensure it operates according to its documentation and service agreements
- Maintain accurate investor records and registers.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties related to the role.
Qualifications Required
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- A third‑level qualification (or equivalent).
- Part-qualified ICSA/ACA /ACCA desired but not essential
- Any professional qualification related to the global or financial sector is desired but not essential
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Experience in fund administration is an advantage.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
