Ocorian Services Limited in Jersey has achieved ISO 27001:2017 certification for the provision of its IT services to support Ocorian globally.
ISO 27001 is the global standard for information security set out by the British Assessment Bureau. It provides a framework for securing sensitive information through a risk management process combining people, processes, and IT systems.
Achieving this certification reflects our ongoing commitment to keeping not just our own data safe, but more importantly, that of our clients. We're proud of our team’s hard work in ensuring our organisation meets the highest standards.
Carole Murphy, Chief Operating Officer, said "this important certification demonstrates that our teams work to recognised international standards for information security. As well as meeting the requirements and establishing that we work to these auditable standards, Stuart, Brett and the IT teams will continue to aim for improvement in all areas so that we can ensure IT and IS are assets for our group”.
