Purpose of the Job
The Strategic Deals Desk is responsible for the timely and accurate production of tech-enabled, high-value client proposals, RFPs and DDQs requested by the global Group across our five core service lines: Funds, Capital Markets, Corporate Services, Private Client, Regulatory & Compliance, with the aim to articulate Ocorian’s value proposition and client commitment, champion best practice and to facilitate new business wins and client retention.
The Strategic Deal Desk Assistant will be responsible for supporting field Service Line Commercial Directors in producing high-quality, tailored responses to high-value mandate information requests, proposals and detailed due diligence questionnaires.
The Strategic Deal Desk Assistant reports to the Research Manager and will work closely with the field Service Line Commercial Directors, the Marketing team and other internal stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting tailored, high-quality responses to RFP, DDQ and Proposal requests.
- Develop a strong knowledge of the firm’s operations, processes, products across core Service Lines to effectively understand and respond to new/existing client and internal requests.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team members and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the global Group.
- Ensure proposal and RFP/DDQ repository content is kept up-to-date and periodically refreshed.
- Monitor periodic RFP/DDQ SME reviews to ensure tasks actioned and content is accurate and fit-for-purpose
- Enter relevant Prospect/Intermediary contacts in salesforce on behalf of the Commercial team.
- Ad hoc support as required by the Commercial team.

Qualifications Required
- University degree preferably in law, business or economics.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Has excellent English language and writing skills
- Understands and is willing and capable to learn about the Global Business services offered by Ocorian, within a limited period of time.
- High proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience of working with CRM (Client Relationship Management) systems, ideally salesforce.
- Prior proposal, RFP and DDQ writing experience in the professional/financial services industry.
