Purpose of the Job

As a Senior AML/CFT & Data Analyst, you will contribute to targeted client assignments related to file reviews which is designed to enhance data quality and ensure the completeness and consistency of information maintained in client files.

Main Responsibilities

Conduct the following within prescribed deadlines (but not limited to):

  • Participate in project assignments involving file reviews, CDD data remediation, screenings, and other related tasks.
  • Manage the daily allocation of work for the team and ensure they meet their daily objectives.
  • Work closely with the Manager to complete the assigned tasks within given deadlines.
  • Assess the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of client due diligence records.
  • Identify and report missing information or inconsistencies and assist with corrective actions, if applicable.
  • Carry out and review screening results and escalate where necessary.
  • Ensure information is properly updated in internal systems with attention to details and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and global offices as well as with their clients (where applicable) to request supporting documents and resolve queries.
  • Verifying the relevance and accuracy of client-provided information and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Manage and secure data integrity.
  • Ensure an understanding of the regulatory requirements and apply the appropriate level of customer due diligence (standard, simplified, or enhanced) based on specific project instructions.
  • Contribute to quality and productivity targets, working within clearly defined project timelines.
  • To adhere to all internal policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular updates to the reporting line or any other designated person, provide general assistance to the latter and to undertake any ad hoc duties as may be required.

Qualifications Required
  • Degree holder in Law/Management/Finance or have completed a professional/relevant qualification to Certificate Level (e.g. ICSA/STEP).

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience preferably in the financial services, compliance, legal or audit environment, with proven experience to manage a small team and working in a performance driven environment.
  • IT savvy with ability to learn any IT systems related to the job.
  • Ability to interpret complex structures and identify beneficial ownership.
