Job Description

Conduct the following within prescribed deadlines:

  • To ensure the effective implementation and execution of the Continuous Improvement (CI) Program by collaborating with teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • To identify, prioritize, facilitate or deliver process improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and enhance business performance, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
  • Leverage automation and digital tools to enhance scalability and efficiency of CI initiatives through technology-driven solutions
  • Maintain existing quality management framework as per ISO 9001 standard to ensure processes meet established standards and customer experience.
  • Track and report on CI metrics, cost savings, and performance improvements to ensure transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making across initiatives
  • Apply project management best practices to develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including detailed plans, progress trackers, dashboards, and status reports to support effective execution and stakeholder communication
  • Provide coaching and training on CI tools and project management best practices to build internal capability and foster a culture of ownership and innovation at all levels
  • To coordinate transfer of work from other locations, by following a standard transition toolkit and managing local and global stakeholder expectations to ensure smooth transition
  • Manage and oversee team deliverables, ensuring timely execution, quality outcomes, and alignment with strategic objectives
  • To undertake any ad hoc duties as may be required

Other Responsibilities

  • Be aware of risk exposure and promptly escalate issues arising to members of the Management team

 

  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information on Ocorian, its clients and employees at all times to safeguard the professional reputation of Ocorian, its employees and its clients.

 

  • Comply with all information security policies, procedures and guidelines in place at Ocorian to ensure information security.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, finance or related degree
  • 8-10 years work experience, including a minimum of 3 years in the financial services sector engaging with global stakeholders, alongside at least 3 years of proven experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and project management roles
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
  • Proven knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
  • Professional certifications in project management, ISO 9001standard and business continuity would be an advantage
  • Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Proven experience in Automation and Digital Transformation and knowledge of emerging technologies (AI/ML)
  • Proven experience in collaborating effectively with Operations and Technology departments
  • Proven knowledge and experience in data analysis, management information & reporting, with problem solving skills.
  • Proven people management and performance management experience
  • Strategic Vision /Big Picture Thinking - Is able to explain the strategic intent behind the vision and build enthusiasm around a shared vision within the organisation
  • Critical Thinking & Decision-Making – Shows insight and sound analytical skills in understanding and interpreting complex issues and takes responsibility for action
