Job Description
Purpose of the job
Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of Ocorian’s global internal communications strategy and providing support for our global brand. You will be a key member of our Marketing and Communications team ensuring that our external campaigns are promoted internally and you will work closely with stakeholders across all locations, helping to ensure our 2,000+ colleagues are informed, engaged, and aligned.
Group Marketing helps Ocorian win through marketing, communications and event programmes that support revenue growth, reputation building and relationship development internally and externally. We partner with senior stakeholders to establish strategic growth prioritiies from which we create and implement marketing activities to deliver agreed outcomes. We are the custodian of the Ocorian brand and deliver internal and external communications that support our purpose, values and drive to “win together”.
Main responsibilities
- You will coordinate Ocorian’s internal content calendar, collaborating with our service line and functional teams.
- You will manage the Ocorian intranet homepage, writing engaging headlines and sharing news. You will also be responsible for the Brand and Marketing intranet hub ensuring content is up to date and information remains easy to find.
- You will coordinate production of internal artwork. This includes digital banners, infographics to simplify complex technical updates, and posters.
- You will support our functional teams by drafting and editing global announcements and translate them into a human, conversational tone that resonates with our colleagues.
- You will support communications at the time of M&A activity including distributing announcements and working with acquired businesses in their rebranding to Ocorian.
- You will coordinate professional headshots and bios for all new senior starters and proactively manage the library of images ensuring they reflect Ocorian’s standards.
- You will manage Ocorian-branded stationery, business cards, and promotional items. You will work with local office managers to ensure that our internal office environments reflect our branding.
- You will manage the logistics for local and global company events.
- You will coordinate internal comms and social media posts around our ESG/CSR activities, ensuring colleagues feel proud of Ocorian’s impact in the industry and local communities.
- You will promote our charitable programme where we fund match money raised for charity by our colleagues and will manage the application and payment process.
- You will assist with all PR related activities as requested, developing effective relationships with agencies and suppliers as required
Qualifications Required
- 2-4 years of experience in a professional services environment (Comms, HR, or Marketing).
- English: Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Exceptional ability to turn "corporate-speak" into human, engaging stories.
