About
Jeff is a Senior Director at Ocorian who founded Emphasys Technologies, Inc. (ETI) in 1988 which Ocorian acquired in 2021. He is the primary developer of ETI’s securitization modeling and tax processing software. Jeff has been involved in all aspects of ETI business including creating and optimizing cash flow models of MBS and ABS transactions, developing loan data validation processes, advising on the tax impacts of REMIC and CRE/CLO structures. Prior to founding ETI, he co-managed KPMG’s original securitization modeling group. Jeff has an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and an A.B. from Harvard University.
