Cilla Torode joined the Newgate Compliance Team in October 2021 as a Senior Compliance Consultant and was promoted to Head of Relationship Management in 2023.
Cilla has over 20 years’ experience in the Insurance industry, as branch manager she had full oversight of the local team, ensuring underwriting guidelines were being adhered to and working closely with the compliance department.
Cilla holds the International Compliance Association (ICA) International Advanced Certificate in Regulatory Compliance, (ICA) Certificate in Compliance, (ICA) Certificate in KYC & CDD, (ICA) Certificate in Anti Money Laundering, (ICA) Certificate in Managing Sanctions Risk, Certificate in Data Protection 2018, Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII) and Fellowship in the International Association of Bookkeepers (FIAB).
Cilla recently passed her ICA International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance.
