Job Description

Purpose of the job

Reporting to the HR Director of Service Lines and HR Director of Countries and Functions, this role has a strong regional operational focus, optimising resources and the HR service across all offices. ​

Main Responsibilities

  • Working with the HRD of Countries & Functions to ensure transformation, talent pipeline and M&A is delivered and value optimised.
  • Working with the local country heads to ensure effective resourcing to deliver client services, by optimising onboard, reducing attrition and absence and ensuring root cause analysis is conducted for leavers.
  • Responsible for comprehensive HR support for managers and employees, easy to access policies and procedures for the region and ensuring managers are effective in supporting their colleagues.
  • Working with manager to ensuring employment relations are dealt with according to legislation, in a timely and efficient manner. Discussing people challenges and ensuring managers are aware of the correct process.
  • Provide labor law knowledge and expertise, ensuring compliance and best practice.
  • Question and challenge managers to get to the root of people and business issues, using evidence and data (attrition, absence and utilisation etc) identify people priorities and develop solutions.
  • Coach and provide feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency.
  • Champion performance management to increase management expertise and realisation.
  • Adopt a strong coaching approach to work with stakeholders.
  • Act as local point of people expertise for teams implementing new people approaches.

Qualifications Required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Proactive leadership and problem resolution
  • Lead employment relations activity in a timely and effective manner, expert in employment law and local regulations
  • Sense of urgency and responsibility to resolve, learn and improvement the experience
  • Effective data led approach to forecasting and identifying HR issues
  • Proactive and curious approach to HR systems and data handling through excel expertise
  • Strong commercial background and focus, able to identify risk and solution required
  • Experience of providing HR services in a complex global, matrixed environment.
  • Experience of HR delivery within a professional services or financial services organisation.
  • Labour law knowledge and experience of handling complex employment relations cases across a wide range of geographies and cases.
  • Career experience of working in another function other than HR, to ensure a wide range of business capability.
  • SHRM Certificate
  • Degree in related field
