Business Development Director - Côte d'Ivoire and France

Laurent has over 20 years’ experience in international business. He is the Regional Manager of Europe and Morocco and is fluent in French. Laurent is in charge of the expansion of the group in these regions and is also responsible for sourcing new opportunities while accompanying existing clients in their development.

A certified economist, Laurent was the Deputy Head of the Economic Division of the French Embassy and a teacher of Economics and Political Science at the Lycée des Mascareignes in Mauritius. In his role as Deputy Head of the Economic Division of the French Embassy in Mauritius, he was also responsible for advising and accompanying French companies setting up in Mauritius, Comoros and the Seychelles. Additionally, Laurent spent 14 years as Editor and Editor-in-Chief of L’Eco Austral, a regional economic magazine covering the Indian Ocean islands.
