Job Description

We are looking for a Procurement Administrator to join our technology team and support our business operations. You will be responsible for processing purchase orders, allocating costs, managing contract renewals, and assisting with supplier due diligence. You will also undertake annual reviews of critical suppliers and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. You will report to the Head of Business Partnering and work closely with other teams across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders and invoices for technology-related goods and services
  • Allocate costs to the appropriate budget lines and projects
  • Manage contract renewals and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers
  • Assist with supplier due diligence, including security assessments, risk analysis, and performance evaluation
  • Undertake annual reviews of critical suppliers and provide feedback and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities and contracts
  • Research and identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost savings and quality improvement
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations
Qualifications Required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Educated to degree level with relevant industry qualifications or demonstrable experience:
  • At least three years of experience in procurement, preferably in the technology sector
  • Knowledge of procurement principles and practices, as well as contract management and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and other relevant software tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
