Marking Commonwealth Day in Mauritius

To mark Commonwealth Day on 9 March, we are delighted to share that Regional Head AMEA and Managing Director of Mauritius, Richard Arlove has been invited to speak on the theme of Securing Climate Finance in a meeting hosted by the British High Commissioner H.E. Keith Allan in Floreal.

Event details

The event partners Ocorian with the Commonwealth Finance Access Hub based in Mauritius to promote discussions around the question of finance access in climate change.

Guests include heads of mission of other Commonwealth countries present in Mauritius, representatives of the Mauritius government, foreign diplomatic missions and members of the business community.

This commemoration is taking place as the UK prepares to host the COP26 in Glasgow in November. The UK is keen to accelerate transitions in the global economy through COP26 policy themes on clean growth, adaptation and resilience, finance and nature.
