Junior Transfer Agent & Registrar

Purpose of the job:
In the Transfer Agency department: provide professional transfer agency functions to a varied portfolio of clients for which Ocorian provides services. They must also comply with the Policies and Procedures of Ocorian Services Limited and more specifically Ocorian (Luxembourg) S.A at all times.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execution of subscriptions, redemptions, transfers of shares, capital calls, dividends.
  • Filing.
  • Contact with investors and if the case maybe with clients.
  • Statements sending.
  • Understanding of a prospectus.
  • Preparation of boards in relation with the Transfer Agency transactions.
  • Preparation of proxies and attendance list.
  • Preparation of Transfer Agency confirmations with regards to the Funds’ audit.
  • Assisting the Head of Transfer Agency and the team.
  • Actively collaborating with all departments’ members.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date database of investors information into the Transfer Agency software.

 To qualify for the role:

  • A Bachelor or University degree in accounting, law, finance or equivalent.
  • Working for 1 or 2 years as corporate officer is an advantage.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English and French.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to details, capability to prioritising tasks; capacity to learn fast; volunteer.
  • Excellent communication skills and team spirit.
