Lynda O'Mahoney joins as Director to drive business development strategy in Middle East

The latest in a raft of senior appointments sees Lynda O'Mahoney join our team in the Dubai International Financial Centre. Lynda will be responsible for developing relationships with both direct clients and a burgeoning community of professional intermediaries.

Lynda joins from Apex Group who recently acquired Link Asset Services Corporate and Private Client Services, formerly known as Capita Asset Services, where she was Head of Business Development for the Middle East. She has lived in Dubai for over 16 years and has experience working with clients and professional advisers in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon, Egypt and India.

At Ocorian, Lynda will have a particular focus on delivering solutions to private clients, corporates, asset managers, institutions and government entities across the GCC and further afield. Speaking on her appointment, Lynda commented, "I joined Ocorian as one of the few fiduciary businesses in the region with a genuinely broad range of services and expertise as well as a fantastic team here on the ground in Dubai.

"The enthusiasm from the Board gives me great confidence for our prospects in the GCC - and I'm excited by the new opportunities presenting themselves here where Ocorian can add value for clients, in particular DIFC and ADGM Foundations."

Nick Cawley, Head of Private Client Services commented, "We are delighted to welcome Lynda.  Having operated in the Gulf and wider Middle East for over 16 years, Lynda brings tremendous breadth and depth of experience to Ocorian and will be able to add value to both existing clients and those of the future.

"To be able to attract someone of Lynda's calibre is a testament to the growing reputation and commitment Ocorian has in the region."

Nina Auchoybur, Managing Director - UAE, added, "We are very excited that Lynda is joining the Ocorian UAE team. We believe her extensive experience of the Middle East will be extremely valuable in consolidating and expanding our network and offering in this market."

Lynda will be speaking at a roundtable on the theme 'In It Together: Family Offices and Private Equity' at the SuperReturn Middle East event in Dubai on 5 November.
